They are not reliable - I changed my rating because otherwise my review gets buried. Our fridge is not repaired. We paid money and they are not responding.
Update June 28: it is Saturday afternoon. No response from them since Thursday’s cancellation. I have paid $525 for nothing.
Update June 26: Today on the day of appointment 12:00- 2 PM. At 12:30 I received a message that Tech is not available and won’t come today. There is no reschedule provided yet. They don’t pick up phone or call. But I am grateful for letting us know!
We paid $525.70 to get our refrigerator repaired. And we are at square one with not so stellar service. They honor their warranty but not reliable. If things get fixed you are lucky or just wait.
Google has very good review but I wish I had checked Yelp, since story is not very rosy there!
1. Refrigerator and Freezer were not maintaining temperature. Tech came and serviced it for the amount mentioned above.
2. Later we noticed that every time (90%) we open the freezer, circuit breaker was tripping. We figured that problem was with refrigerator not circuit breaker.
3. They honored the warranty and tech came to fix it. He confirmed our suspicion, fixed the problem.
4. Next day - Saturday night 8:30 PM I sent message that freezer was not cooling. Fridge temp was 49. Left a voice message also.
No response from Best tech, no one on phone on Sunday.
Called agin on Monday, sent more text messages. Finally Monday 10 am Emily W. Replies that she will look into it, only to let us know at 4 PM that their original technician is on holiday and their policy is to not send any other technician. So we will have to wait till Thursday for repair.
I talked to her again requesting we only have one fridge and reason we chose them was because they claim 24 hour service. Now we will be waiting till Thursday with rotten food. I don’t want to pay again to another technician at other company. So it’s rotten food or another $525 somewhere else!!
